After doing my 'O' levels at Bedok Town Secondary School, I began my new learning journey at the Institute of Technical Education East - Bishan, where currently I am undergoing the Certificate in Business Studies - Secretarial course for 2 years.

In school, I have to start from scratch, which means I learnt new things and acquired more skills which were not taught in my secondary school days. We were trained to type at fast speeds, taking down dictations in shorthand and everything that has to do with the business world. And guess what...? We still have to keep fit by having our usual Physical Education lessons... Sooo tiring!!!

At first, it was a difficult time for me as I had to adjust to the new environment. I made new friends, met new Training Officers who had strived to make us succeed until the end, but as days gone by, I realised that school isn't so bad after all!

As the saying goes, "If at first you don't succeed, try and try again" and that was what I did. Even though I was not doing as expected at first, I did not give up... I persevered to do well and not let my parents down.

My friends are great!! They are the best pals anyone could ever have. They never let you down and you can always count on them to be there for you when you feel down. We work as a team and will always try to help one another if anyone seems lost.

In short, I always had a blast hanging around with them! They are a part of my family as we treat each other equally, like brothers and sisters, people with whom I can share my problems or even joke around with.
