Ever
since I was a little girl, my parents introduced me to dancing, singing and
acting lessons. My first training started when I was four years old and that
was also the time when I had my first television appearance. Mostly, it was
for a Malay children's programme and also an educational programme for CDIS.
I was involved in a few Malay Traditional Dance societies back then but by the
time I was in Primary 6, it was time for me to stop being involved as it was
the time for me to concentrate on my exams. |

I
did not get involved again for about 4 years and that was during my secondary
days as I did not take up Malay Dance as part of my ECA. But I did get to perform
a few small shows for Teachers' Day as a class involvement. |

It
was not until I got into ITE that I decided it was time to get back into the
dancing days again. It was my decision that when I get into the school, I wanted
to join the Malay Dance Society and I did not regret it. In fact, I love being
in that group and the group is like my second family. |

As
you can see from the pictures around, I get to do a lot of performances for
special occasions. It was a lot of fun performing for both school and public
shows. |
